ABOUT

Eli Akin is a husband and father of three from Fayetteville, GA. He has a passion to humbly lead the church to experience God’s presence through music. Eli’s heart for worship is to encourage people to leave behind distraction and circumstances and focus on Jesus alone. He seeks to foster an environment of performance-free, congregational worship led by the Holy Spirit. Eli’s favorite moments are when he can step away from the mic and hear God’s people worshipping Jesus with joy.

God has blessed Eli not only with musical ability but the gift of worship leading. His desire is to use that gift to bless God’s church. He is able to lead a congregation, work with praise teams, choirs, and tech teams to ensure that each service has an environment of genuine worship.

Eli’s heart for people has touched every area of his life. In 2021 he started a nonprofit, M25 Barbecue, which provides free meals to underserved communities. As full-time President of M25, Eli organizes and prepares food for events each week where recipients receive not only a meal, but prayer, the gospel, and connection to a local church.

Whether leading a congregation in worship or serving a plate of barbecue, Eli’s goal is to see Jesus honored and to bring glory to the Father.
